Host Of Copa America 2024
Alejandro DomÃnguez, the president of CONMEBOL, clarified that Ecuador had only been nominated and not yet selected to host the event. Eventually, Ecuador declined to host the tournament in November 2022. Following this, both Peru and the United States expressed their interest in organizing the tournament.
On January 27, 2023, it was officially announced that the United States had been chosen as the host country for the 2024 Copa América. As part of the newly established strategic alliance between CONCACAF and CONMEBOL, six teams from CONCACAF will qualify for the tournament through the 2023-24 CONCACAF Nations League. Initially, Ecuador was expected to host the tournament based on the host rotation order of CONMEBOL.
Copa America 2024 Stadiums
As part of a collaboration between CONMEBOL and CONCACAF, the upcoming 2024 Copa America championship will be hosted in the United States. The specific stadiums and cities that will be utilized for the event have not yet been disclosed. However, it has been announced that the matches during the 2024 edition of the tournament will take place from June 14 to July 10.
