They secured their place in the tournament by defeating UAE with a convincing seven-wicket victory in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup final on the reserve day. Gulshan Kumar Jha played a crucial role, scoring a steady 67 runs to guide Nepal to victory and secure their qualification for the Asia Cup 2023.

This will be Nepal’s debut appearance in the Asia Cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 2, 2023, to September 17, 2023. A total of 13 matches will be played during the Asia Cup 2023, including six league games, six Super 4 games, and a final.
