Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023: Format, rules, squads, schedule: The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 qualifier is scheduled to be held in Zimbabwe on June 18, Sunday. This qualifier tournament will feature 10 teams vying for the last two spots in the World Cup, which is set to take place later this year.
The participating teams in the qualifier tournament include the host nation Zimbabwe, as well as West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Nepal, Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, UAE, and the USA. These teams will compete in a total of 34 One Day International (ODI) matches.
The objective of the qualifier tournament is to determine the top two teams who will secure their place in the marquee ICC ODI World Cup event, which will be held in India in October-November.

Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023
There are 10 teams participating in the qualifier tournament. They are divided into two groups, each containing five teams.
In the group stage, every team will play against the other teams in their respective group. This means that each team will have four matches to compete in.
After the group stage, the top three teams from each group will move on to the super six stage. In this stage, the teams from one group will play against the teams from the other group.
The performance in the super six stages is crucial. The top teams from this stage will secure their qualification for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, which will take place in India.
Additionally, there will be a final match played to determine the winner of the qualifier tournament. However, the result of this final match will not impact the teams’ qualification for the World Cup.
